Teilachanell Angel, MBA, is the founder of the Walker-Angel Enterprise for Equitable Work, a social impact organization committed to advancing economic mobility by building an equitable and inclusive “Future of Work.” Her passion for economic mobility is grounded in lived experience and persistent concern for those left behind. The enterprise offers clients research, speaking engagements, and analytic services on equitable and inclusive workforce strategies.
In 2021, Teilachanell co-authored “Women Breaking Barriers: A Guide to Training, Recruiting, and Retaining Women in Residential Construction Trades.” The publication excogitates the economic and social factors behind gender inequality and the industry’s talent shortage. Then codifies best practices in diverse talent acquisition, equitable workforce development, and inclusive organizational culture.
Previously, Teilachanell served as the Director of Finance & Strategic Planning at Backyard Farms (BYF), an Ag-Tech company delivering sustainably grown produce year-round across New England. While there, she designed analytic tools for compensation and workforce planning strategies to improve retention and mitigate labor shortages. She brings a combined 10+ years in Finance and Marketing Product Management.
Teilachanell is a graduate of the Social Impact MBA program at Boston University and holds concentrations in Strategy and Leadership and Organization Culture.
